Terms of Service

We are a small, family owned business, committed to making high quality, fair trade clothing in a cooperative spirit. We design everything ourselves and make it all in-house at Mehera Shaw Textiles in Jaipur, India.   
We want you to truly enjoy your Mehera Shaw purchase. We ask that you take time to consider your purchase, particularly regarding the size and fit that are right for you, and discuss any questions you may have with us.

SHIPPING (US and International orders)

We currently ship via UPS courier from North Carolina, USA.  We ship to the US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Europe.  We do not ship to any PO boxes or APO address. Our shipping rates are as follows for most addresses.

Most items ship within 1-3 business days, but due to the artisan nature of our products, some items may take longer.  If this is the case, we will send you a notification via email of the expected ship date after your order is placed. We are obligated to collect sales tax on orders shipping to North Carolina addresses. As soon as your order is sent, we will email the UPS tracking number to you. All taxes or customs duties applicable are to be paid by the customer at the time of receipt.

SHIPPING (Indian domestic orders)

Our Indian customers will soon be directed to shop with us via our Indian online shopping site: meherashaw.in.  Within this collection, shipping charges are included in the cost of the item, with no additional fees.  These items ship directly from Jaipur and are available for domestic purchase within India only.  For Indian domestic purchases, we use a domestic courier and provide tracking information as soon as your item has been shipped.

RETURNS

We accept returns on items that are flawed or damaged or not the correct size for you within 14 days of receipt of the item.  

Items must be in new, unworn, unused condition.

If you would like to return an item, please email us at info@meherashaw.com with a description of the reason for the return.  Once we authorize return, we will provide either our US address for receiving the return.  

Once the return has been received and confirmed to be in new, unworn condition, we will credit your account back. We will accept returned items which are unworn, unwashed, undamaged, with tags still attached, within 14 days of receipt, with an accompanying invoice and an explanation of why the item was not suitable.

We are sorry, but we are not able to refund shipping. When the item has been received back in new, unworn condition, we will refund your purchase in the form it was paid.

If you would like an exchange, we will do our best to send you a different item. New shipping charges will apply to an exchange.

Please keep in mind that all products are artisan-made.  There are very slight difference in color or print from piece to piece.

COMPANY PROFILE

We are both a U.S. Brand and an Indian Fair Trade manufacturer.  We make everything in-house.  Both our brand and manufacturing are owned by Mark and Shari Keller.

PRIVACY

Mehera Shaw respects the privacy of all our customers.  We use your information provided for the purposes of sending your order and, with permission, sending you news updates about our collections and products.  We do not share your information with any third party, nor do we sell information for advertising purposes.

SECURITY

We use Paypal secure server and Shopify direct payment and PayPal for our payment gateways for international sales.  No financial information is stored by us.
